I am trying to create a 'Quick Add Buddies' functionality where in user will be presented with a text field where in they will specify all the users they want to add to their buddy list as comma separated entries.

I then need to search all those contacts add them to the user's buddy list.

Any documentation, article, tutorial provided will be highly helpful.

I am not able to get proper documentation on APIs which I can use to manipulate user's buddy list.
